Founded in 2020 by international multi-instrumentalist Alexander Samodum, AcousticLand explores the intersection of tradition and innovation, offering a rich tapestry of acoustic textures and emotional depth.

At the heart of AcousticLand is Alexander's remarkable ability to bring instruments to life. With years of experience performing in a wide range of genres and ensembles, his expressive mastery of acoustic guitar, ukulele, flute, and voice is the soul of the group's sound. But it is his masterful use of the harp guitar that sets AcousticLand apart. It is a unique and rare instrument not often seen or heard on musical stages. An extension of the guitar with extra rows of harp-like strings, this instrument creates wonderful new textures and extraordinary possibilities.

Since its inception, AcousticLand has performed at international festivals and concert venues in Ukraine, Moldova, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Czech Republic, Germany and Spain, earning recognition for its authenticity and musical sensibility.

In 2022, the project evolved into a chamber trio format featuring guitar, cello, and double bass. This elegant configuration weaves classical elements with acoustic warmth, blurring the lines between composed form and improvisational storytelling.

AcousticLand's creative spirit extends beyond the stage. The group's music has been featured in several documentaries, including Unknown Karaites, The Army That Leapt Through Time, and My Pilot Whale, in which sound becomes an emotional thread that carries the narrative forward.
