On Friday, September 26, as part of the FFT Festival, Ivanov Vibe will premiere his ethno-jazz suite Picture of the World, blending Balkan, Eastern Slavic, Scandinavian, and Japanese traditions. He will be joined by renowned multi-instrumentalist Arkady Shilkloper.

Opening the evening: Alexander Samodum's Acousticland, a chamber trio with German musicians.

ACOUSTICLAND

Formed in 2020 by multi-instrumentalist Alexander Samodum, Acousitcland has evolved into a chamber trio featuring guitar, cello, and double bass. This elegant configuration weaves classical elements with acoustic warmth, blurring the lines between composed form and improvisational storytelling.

AcousticLand's creative spirit extends beyond the stage. The group's music has been featured in several documentary films, including Unknown Karaites, The Army That Leapt Through Time, and My Pilot Whale.

ARKADIY SHILKLOPER

Arkady Shilkloper is a renowned Russian-German musician, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and composer, best known as one of the leading exponents of the French horn and alphorn. He began his musical career as a horn player in the Bolshoi Theater Orchestra and later joined the State Symphony Orchestra of the USSR under the direction of Yevgeny Svetlanov.

A prominent figure in the contemporary world music scene, Arkady Shilkloper has made significant contributions to the development of jazz and improvised music. His ability to combine classical training with experimental genres has made him one of the most interesting and innovative musicians of his time. One of the key aspects of Shilkloper's playing is his use of the French horn in jazz, folk, and even electronic music, demonstrating its extraordinary capabilities in terms of timbre and expressiveness.

IVANOV VIBE

Ivanov Vibe is the project of the talented vibraphonist and composer Innokentiy Ivanov, fusing jazz improvisation with elements of chamber music and ethnic motifs. The band features vocals, vibraphone, keyboards, bass and drums, as well as a string quartet and wind instruments in extended projects.

Innokentiy Ivanov will premiere the ethno-jazz suite "Picture of the World". Each part of the suite reflects unique aspects of world perception, from personal emotion to deep philosophical reflection.
